Academic workIn 2000 I completed a PhD-thesis about my twin study on hand eczema. You can download or read a copy of it here. My publications are copyrighted by the journals in which they were published, so I’m unable to provide copies, but a list of them is available through PubMed AffiliationsMy current workplace is the university hospital Roskilde Sygehus. InterestsI spend most of my spare time on practical family business, but when left to my own dispositions, I compile and update an extensive Bryld Family History web site. My geographical areas of interest in this respect are Sønderjylland (our family name), Bornholm (my wife’s family) and Iceland (my mother’s family). I am a (nowadays rather negligent) member of the masonic lodges Nordstjernen, Cubus Christiani Decimi and Den Danske Store Landsloge. These lodges are all united under the main masonic organisation in Denmark, Den Danske Frimurerorden. By the way, the Coat of Arms on this site is of significant historic origin! It predates the current millennium, as I blazoned it myself in 1997. I also use it in a masonic context together with the motto Inveniam Viam Aut Faciam.
